Very busy and very loud bank holiday Monday in Wolverhampton for this year's Slam Dunk festival. A bit of a struggle to begin with as I just came back from three days covering Liverpool Sound City and was lacking sleep but the type of bands that play at Slam Dunk have a way of filling one up with energy. Lots of familiar faces in the pit, too which is always a good thing.

Twenty One Pilots @ Hare & Hounds
I only shot Twenty One Pilots once before when they played on the second stage at Download Festival in 2014 and I was looking forward to seeing them again but this time in a much smaller, intimate venue. They most definitely didn't disappoint. I left the gig sweaty, tired and happy, exactly how one should feel after a really good night out.

This was never going to be an easy gig to shoot and it was in fact really hard work but they are one of my favourite bands so I didn't want to miss them when they played in Birmingham.

Bank holiday Monday spent shooting IMPERICON Festival in Manchester featuring Adept, Desolated, Ingested, Being As An Ocean, Carnifex, Deez Nuts, Stick To Your Guns, Whitechapel, Ghost Inside and Suicide Silence.
