The other night I had another opportunity to photograph Marmozets in action. I still remember seeing them for the first time on a tiny stage at Slam Dunk festival in Wolverhampton last year. At the time I had no idea who they were but one of my fellow photographers told me they are well worth checking out so I did. It is a pure joy watching a young band like Marmozets on stage, their energy and enthusiasm is infectious and they give it their all every single time.
I shot them few times since that day and they seem to be getting better and better every time. It will be interesting to see the lead singer Becca Macintyre and the boys taking over the main stage at Leeds/Reading festival this coming summer.
Kerrang Tour 2015 @ 02 Academy Birmingham
Last night Kerrang Tour came to Birmingham and the crowd was entertained by the likes of Beartooth, Bury Tomorrow, We Are The In Crowd, Don Broco and special guests Young Guns.
Walk around Shoreditch
I spent a lovely weekend in London speaking at the BIRDIE photo conference and met some wonderful and creative people. Before going back to Birmingham I had to take the opportunity to have a look around Shoreditch and photograph some of the colourful street art dotted all over the place. Leeds Festival 2014
August Bank Holiday always means only one thing to me, it’s time for Leeds Festival. Bramham Park is full of music and crowds of youngsters (and few more mature folk) at various stages of drunkenness. After three days of running from stage to stage, consuming too many fizzy drinks and crap food, here are some of my highlights.
